revised spring break itinerary

alas, no giant sequoias this spring, but the bard and beer will suffice.

saturday:
leave for ashland.
stop at wildlife safari park in winston, oregon.

sunday:
see a midsummer night’s dream at the oregon shakespeare festival in ashland.
visit historic lithia park, drink the nasty healthy lithia water, and peruse quaint downtown shops.

monday:
lunch with renown african history professor from cal state chico.
tour chico including bidwell park (one of the largest city parks in the USA) and the covered bridge.

tuesday:
drive home stopping in redding to pick up 1920s cherry wood dresser, bureau, and other treasures.

wednesday to sunday:
r&r in stumptown.
sandra’s b-day extravaganza.
brew a batch of ale.
